can u use vtec ecu on non vtec motor?

i have a p28 and im runing a ls . if it will work how i looked for somthing to shut off vtec but could not find it thanks for any info

Sure you can. You can either disable Vtec entirely or just do like we did in the old days... set Vtec engagement above your rev limiter. /Allan

i was looking for a vtec disable setting but did not see one ps just got ectune sorry for being a noob so any help would be great

Parameters button, Hardware Settings, VTEC Settings, uncheck Enable VTEC routine. *edit* glad you found it. :)

im also looking for a tuned base map for my car i saw some ware some one said they had them i have a ls running t3t4 and have 1000cc injectors to put in have not done it yet. also can you build a base map with the 1000cc injectors in or do you have to switche them then retune. again thanks for any help
