MAP sensor weird readings?????????

Post by thething96 »

Had the car with a very good tune, very stable. Ever since the update, map sensor readings seem to vary from day to day. One day I'm idling at -10.5 psi, the other day -8.8.psi(why have negative psi? just personal preference). Any idea why the changes???

Oem honda map sensor, but having psi as vacuum is how I like it. Every time the readings change, I have to retune all over again, I've done it 3 times already.....

I had a similar problem with my MAP sensor, in my case my MAP sensor's ground and voltage was connected to a different power source than the ECU. When I used the voltage and ground from the ECU, it worked w/o any variation.

Not only do the map sensor readings vary from day to day, also whenever I do a pull(being that its supercharged, and the manifold gets really hot) it continues to run rich even after everything cools down. I played with the iat compensation tables, but its not helping. Any help please.........

went to do some more tuning and I've noticed that afr's change whenever I do a pull. Sometimes it will run richer, I'll floor it and then It'll run lean. Over and over. And by the way, I tried to check any baro corrections, but I'm using pro, and the baro section is blank. Any thoughts.......................

How do I do that? When I click paramaters and go to baro corrections, there is nothing to select, it's all blank. Are baro corrections available to tuner version only, because if it isn't, then I don't know why I don't have the option to change any baro corrections??????????????????

Well figured it out, finally. Both IAT and MAP sensor were bad and caused the AFR fluctuations. Took long enough to figure out, but done all the same.............thanks.
