You should think so, but I'm not able to get the engine running at all with a modified h22 map. But when I use the original ecu from the f20b3 sohc engine I had it starts but runs as a bag of crap. I'm just not able to get it running with the chiped ecu. I'm gonna try more tomorrow. Maybe I'm gonna use a different ecu. So I was hoping somebody had a f20b oem basemap I could use.

If the stock ecu runs like crap, I think there is something else wrong. Cam a tooth off?

the stock ecu is from a old f20b3 sohc engine. I just used it to check that the engine would actually start. I'm gonna test some more tonight with the chipped ecu.

After I had tried everything I could think of I mounted the chip that came with my ecu (po6) when I bought it and tried that instead of the demon. And the engine started at once... What have I done wrong when I made the h22 basemap!? And what is the stock map that comes with the demon because I can remember that I managed to start the engine with that. But I overwrote the code before I saved it :)

A H22 basemap is based on 330cc injectors. If the F20 has smaller ones you ran way too lean.

I'm using the basemap from a h22 with 290cc prelude injectors, the same size as the f20b dohc uses. Here is the .cal file which I'm using now, can anybody see if there is a setting or something I have forgotten to enable? Info about the engine: -f20b dohc vtec engine (stock engine w headers) -obd2 harness was scrapped since the ecu was from an AT car and the intake was smaler than the stock f20b3 we had. -290cc stock f20b injectors -po6 chipped ecu, vtec enabled. starts(at the first crank) and runs the engine with the chip that came with it (full throttle chip??)

play with the overall, cranking, post startup until it starts on its own. with stock injectors, it shouldnt take much adjusting.

I'm still having problems with the f20b engine, the engine starts at once, but the headers turn orange after just a minute or so just idling. What is wrong, the af is ok could it just be the thin walls in the header?

Does it run right? As in smooth and clean... That makes me think the exhaust cam and maybe intake cam way too retarded... I know it sounds stupid, but the burn could be finishing in the header...
