Antilag issue too much boost

Post by 92redhatch »

I have my anti set at 7200rpm 10 fuel 10 ignition and fuel cut and ignition cut. The problem is it will boost past 20psi and I need to launch about 10 psi. Helppppp thanks

lower your launch RPM until you get it where you want it... we were going to add a boost threshold for antilag but it never got done, all that kinda went out the window when we got tired of trying to make soft touch rev limiting work.

I know in other programs like Neptune the more fuel the more boost

Yeah, but if your RPMs are already up where the turbo naturally makes boost you will make boost with NO antilag at all, at that point you really can't controll it unless you have a trick boost control setup. So your only option is to lower the launch RPM so the turbo won't spool up.. Once you get the revs down then you can - + the fuel/timing to get it where you want it

I didn't have that problem with neptune. My antilag was at 7200 and built on 12psi. But I guess with ectune my antilag has to be set like at 5000rpm?

probably because the antilag is less aggresive on neptune. eCtunes antilag actually works very very well. on neptune you probably were only building boost from RPM not from the antilag actually doing much..
