High CPU usage

Hi I've noticed that eCtune seems to use a lot of resources mainly when playback a DL file. I'm getting around 50 to 60% cpu usage on a core2 duo cpu (T7250) at full speed and I think it's a bit exagerated. Has anyone else noticed the same? Calvin, is there some kind of optimization that could be done in the code? Or is it already optimized? Thanks

I've noticed just a high overall cpu usage (anywhere inbetween 30-50% when even just tuning/navigating around eCtune. CPU is an intel T7800 @ 2.6ghz dual core.
