In the data list you have a data item called. Interval(ms) can you tell me wat u see there. Because i'm using the same hardware as wat i sold you. I'm getting 15ms intervals(normally other people as well). This means almost 67 frames for data per second. Be sure to have your latest FTDIchip.com drivers. If not mail me so we can setup a time to remote to your laptop and see what's going on.

Update: Changed labtops, It now has 15ms datalogging and its very fast and logs cells just like it should. We were still having problems with the voltage input on the ELD input not going low enough so we switched to the 02 heater input [d14?] and it works for 0v to aprox 3.86v but anything more than that it just sticks like the eld input would. So with the eld input we could read 12.06 afr to 16 afr With the O2 heater input we can read 9 afr - 14.86 afr This make sense? Thanks for your help, dk

In stock form the obd1 ecu d14 will only read ~3.8vdc and I nelieve the eld issue may be related to the 2 resistors I mentioned previously.

o2 heater is not an analog to digital input it can never read volt... It's just an output on/off

So which input should I use for my widebands 0-5v input for logging my AFR's? Also were can I get more info on the ELD resistors that need to be removed? I'd like to try this as a last resort, any side effects to removing these resistors? [just ELD I assume, which is disabled of course] The other 2 inputs B6 and D12 looked like they needed to be pinned on the ecu [SOHC VTEC] we are using for this car. I might just try soldering a wire to one of there contacts and running a it out of the ecu for the input and see what kind of results I get. Thanks again for your help, dk I'm slowing getting all my user error bugs worked out with this software, it gets better and better each day. ;)

http://www.hondata.net/forum/viewtopic. ... db2090ea9a \"Note that if the ELD input (D10) is used then R136 and R138 (US ECUs) may need to be removed.\" \"cutting them fixed my wideband problems. yay, no more voltage offset and it can read lower than 11.8:1 now\" I will try this, thank you for the insight

bro that is the ELD input not the o2 heater input(doesn't exist). In ectune setting ELD tabl you will see that you can cut or replace them. And this as nothing to do with logging speed

I know man, I am going back to the ELD input after I remove the resistors to allow a 0-5v input. The input I am currently using is maxing out at 3.86 volts and thats only 14 something afr for me.

It is a NGK Powerdex 0v=9afr 5v=16afr I read that the d14 [o2 input] max voltage is aprox 3.86v and thats around what I am toping out on that input which is around 14.6 afr edit: Also my logging speed is fine, we replaced that labtop, speed is not the problem. max voltage that the input can read is. My findings \"Any voltage above 3.8V… I.E. if you accidentally applied 12V to the D14 input. The 3.8V is simply the highest voltage that the Honda ECU can recognize [on that input]… Any voltage greater than 3.8V gets truncated down to 3.8V. Think of the Honda ECU input as having a 3.8V zener diode at its input… Any voltage above 3.8V gets dumped off to ground.\"

Cool were on the same track. I'm also going to solder some wires onto the b6 and d12 inputs and see what there restrictions are as well. Thanks for your time, Problem Solved
