setting up a 1000cc basemap old injector size 497, new 1000

Post by tandrew21 »

alright i have my car currently running on ectune for the past 3 months. But i had to make some adjustments to my old size and new size injectors to even get a basemap to run the car. When i make a basemap, if i set my injector size like i should: old injector size 240, new injector size 1000 the car will not idle for crap and will not run. But when i set the old size to 497cc and new injector size to 1000, i can get the car to idle and run pretty good but tuning it is a pain in the ass, the slightest change makes the afrs go everywhere. By having the old size injectors 497cc does this screw with the tuner calculations math in estimated fuel change auto adjust when im logging? cause sometimes the % adjustment is way too much.... setup is: b16 precision turbo 1000cc injectors type r cams t3 t04e 57 trim turbo

You need adjust overall fuel trim and or fuel offset. To get the idle proper

offset adjustment didnt work? you should have a final multiplier of 0.24 and then work with your injector offset adjustment to get the idle.
