I really question the chipping job... I have purchased countless Botched chipped ECU's, and all I had to do was clean the protective 3M film off the board, desolder all end-user soldered joints, refloat all of them, and the ECU worked fine afterwards! Most people don't take the time to brush or use a solvant to remove the thin waterproofing coat they put on the ECU and it makes it about 50x harder to solder it correctly. Also, scrutanize the installation of the ribbon cable for the ostrich, and use an ohmmeter to test it's connection to the socket, and all components installed with the chipping job. If you use a base .cal, with no modifications, and all sensors disable, KoEo you should see no solid CEL; if you do see a solid CEL: check connections make sure your ostrich is licensed make sure the upload of base rom and calibration goes through successfully check chipping job Solid CEL points towards hardware: either ECU or missing/switched sensors.
