Completely disable the fuel cut, set the mbar at 23 or something ridiculous and set the throttle cut off at 0 and your problems will go away until it has been addressed again. Yes deceleration will be a bit rich but it will get rid of the \"terrible\" driving conditions you are experiencing.

i'm not looking for a band aid, i want it to be fixed. i wonder why calvin dosnt fill in, i purchased the software knowing that fuel cuts/and decel works proparly. as i mentiond.Adam Hopkins wrote:Completely disable the fuel cut, set the mbar at 23 or something ridiculous and set the throttle cut off at 0 and your problems will go away until it has been addressed again. he has bigger fish to fry at the moment. I was having issues with setting the map scalars manually and i made a new map and started from scratch. Column 1 load was a little higher than my custom calibration ([-70 column 1, 76 column 2) vs. 127 column 1). I set TPS at 5%, below load 193, minimum rpm 1800, fuelcut restore 1300, fuel cut delay 500. Upon NORMAL acceleration, when i push in the clutch, i get low 14's AFR. The only time i get a rich afr during tipout decel is when push the load to ~600-700 and shift to the next gear.racepak wrote:i'm not looking for a band aid, i want it to be fixed. i wonder why calvin dosnt fill in, i purchased the software knowing that fuel cuts/and decel works proparly. as i mentiond.Adam Hopkins wrote:Completely disable the fuel cut, set the mbar at 23 or something ridiculous and set the throttle cut off at 0 and your problems will go away until it has been addressed again. even with the current version. i was always able to tune fuelcut and tipout perfect. I wonder why it's not the same for other people.

calvin man, once you get that acceleration code in, the limits of what you will be able to accomplish will only be limited to how much space you have left lol acceleration vs tip out accleration vs. tip in acceleration vs load vs ignition/fuel mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

well first i do a decel run and see where my mbar is at... e.g. 200mbar then i set my fuelcut 210mbar then i go play with tps value for erratic kick in and out of fuelcut. i disable fuelcut based on mbar and then tune column 0 for a not to rich afr. if during high rpm shift the TIPOUT is still to rich you can modify the tipout multiplier

I have exactly the same problem as racepak. Drive out - WOT - watch the mbar values from approx 6K RPM up to 2500. Values are somewhere between 160-210 mbar. Set the fuelcut to 220-230, TPS 1%. When RPMs are around 3000, fuelcut stops working and car starts to jump. So I raise the fuelcut baro value a bit, but then when I'm very gentle on the throttle, fuelcut somes in play as the baro values are below minimum level even though I am at 5-6% of TPS and trying to drive slowly in the city. Calvin, I really think the best way how to solve this is to completely disable the MBAR value for fuelcut - for example by a checkbox. Then the only thing that would define if the ECU has to do a fuelcut would be a TPS value and minimum RPM. I was also using Crome before, also no problem and honestly, since the ride is so bumpy, I am using Crome right now even though I hate it comparing to Ectune.

i had 10x more problems with crome because tps was not adjustable and mbar didn't work properly you just have to lower you mbar and play with it also with tps. i know what i'm saying because i been there done that.. make a log for me of a 3rd gear decel. set mbar to -70 when doing the pull post cal and log here i'll change it

I was talking about the possibility to disable the "minimum mbar" value for the fuelcut to work. Simply use the TPS value and don't care about the mbar values... as an option for those that have issues with current fuelcut. I will do a pull today and post my .cal and .log files. Thanx for help ! You really respond quickly....calvin wrote:fuelcut baro what are you talking about?
Ok, attached is a darkb16a1.zip file. It contains the following files: basemap.cal - my actual basemap fuelcut_minus70.elf - a pull on 3rd gear with no throttle, and with fuel cut set to -70mbar fuelcut_minus70againslightthrottle.elf - a pull on 3rd gear with no throttle at the start and then slight throttle to see how the pressure values change when on slight throttle. again fuelcut set to -70 fuelcut_170_slightthrottle.elf - a pull on 3rd gear with no throttle at the start and then slight throttle, with fuelcut set to 170 mbar. Here you can see that the mbar values at no throttle and very gentle throttle(3-5% of TPS) differ in very small values, and the car starts to pop(a few attempts of fuelcut while being gentle on the throttle). fuelcut_origsettings.elf - a pull done on original values. 200 mbar / 5% TPS. My biggest problem is that I set the mbar values either too high and then the fuelcut comes in play even when being gently ON the throttle, or I set it too low and then it doesn't properly do the fuelcut while not being on the throttle at all.

I also use race ecu when creating basemap. Tried to play with the mbar value again and still the same problem. Either no fuelcut while decelerating, or fuelcut appearing while being gently on the throttle.Bugermass wrote:I don't see how you guys are having this issue.. I don't have these issues. .. I always use race only ecu in the basmap creator, mabey somthing that get disabled there is affecting it and thats why I don't have this issue..
