Hehe, \"Mushroomed muffler\". Pictures please :) Question time: What sort of exhaust is needed to use anti-lag reliably without splitting things apart? Will a simple 2½\" with straight-through mufflers do? Thank you for a very nice thread with lots of real-life insight! /Allan

You mean you requested to grey them, which is now implemented? Because in your screenshots on page 1 the values can be set for resume rpm (not grey)... But you also use ignition cut, right? What happens with antilag diabled and you hit launch control? My rpm setting was 3500.

haha, I never enable antilag on full exhaust cars.. Most of the turbo setups we do are open downpipe dumped right to the ground or off to the side.

antilag values were zeroed; I hit a 1 PSI boost cut 3 times... I set my threshold high, so it's fully warm before boosting ;)

FTL, ignition cut + fuel cut + anti-lag: movie

Tried anti-lag the other night. Woh, scared the shit out of me. 2 foot flames out the back. Anyway, I set ignition retard to 40 degrees and added 40 fuel with 750cc injectors. Builds 8psi @ 5000 rpm (full boost currently) on an SC60 0.63AR turbo. Anyway, I think there needs to be cut options for both launch, normal, and boost cut limits like fuel, ign, or fuel/ign. If I hit the normal rev limit, anti-lag is still in effect which I don't want. So also an option to only use anti-lag on the launch control limit. Fun to scares the crap out of other cars though  Thanks

You probably have ignition cut enabled or both ignition cut and fuel cut for the rev limiter. Then if you hit the normal rev limiter you may have pops/flames from the exhaust. This is not anti-lag. In the launch control function you set a minimum speed, so this should not work with the normal rev limiter.

I'll have to test it by setting the rev limit cut for fuel only and see if anti-lag behaves the same. I was under the impression that the anti-lag routine in the code is executed whenever a rev limit is active, because you can enable anti-lag without enabling the launch limiter. But, you guys are saying that the anti-lag routine is only applied to the launch limiter? When I get eCtune working again, I'll test it out.

Hmm yes, did you test what happens with this setting?

IMHO sometimes it seems like antilag is on, even when just driving normal; but I think that could be attributed to the tune... Good video; I just got my multimedia server back up and running yesterday, so when I get the first chance to download the video off my camcorders I will get come footage up. The big pops from behind the car are seriously loud... as in... my friend wanted to hear, and he actually jumped back a few feet from the explosions... got some good flames on the video too. If I can get to my testing grounds I will get a newer video of building 11PSI.
