ok i got a log of the event. I logged for 30 minutes while i drove around. Finally, towards the end of the log, it shuts off. I had to start it and let it die a few times before i could get to a waiting point to let the car sit safely. Same symptoms again, however, this time the tach bounced a few times before the engine shut off initially. in the log it occurs around 31 minutes and happens a few times after. once again i couldnt get the car all the way to the house but i got it close enough to walk home. I have an OBD1 distributor and the conversion harness that i have made in storage so ima get the wifey to take me there.

bouncing tach = Ignitor ICM code 15 on crome = Ignitor 1+1=2... Change ignitor or look at ignition system

calvin, I didnt get any problems with just the hulog powered. But so far i have found the newest \"fix\" for the moment at least. I made a new basemap but i didnt do any custom RPM scalars. p28 USDM --> p13 H22a 330cc --> prelude injector offsets --> FTL disabled for the moment (about to enable FTL) as far as datalogging, i believe i fixed that as well. I have been using a multiport USB adaptor made by targus. I bypassed that and set the hulog and ostrich straight to the computer and i have yet to run into any freezing problems and the cell trace works perfectly. You may want to look into the RPM scalars and how it reconfigures everything and see if you can find a bug, worth a shot. It could be OBD2 distributor related...i dont know. I think the majority of people here are using OBD1 distributors so i dunno, lol i'll give you another update once i get home.
