The whole secondary map dealio is what I've been using so far and it does work fine, in fact, it's pretty damn hilarious to have your friends attempt to start your car after tellin' 'em that your car KNOWS who's in the drivers seat and will only start for the owner/tuner. (Assuming you're sneaky enough to flip the switch without them seein'.) ;) Priceless.
The problem with this is that its not better than a simple cut off switch, which if found by a thief, is very easy to bypass. On the other hand, antistart in eCtune would make any thief scratch their heads and give up. Even if they swapped the ECU they may not make it very far, if at all. With antistart their only option would be to tow the car.
He has a good point. For instance, in my LSVTEC build, I have DSM 380cc injectors. Only way that bitch is gonna run is if it's using my map... or by some magic, someone else's basemap that the theif is armed with, and a lot of luck. But then again, if thieves were smart, they'd already be rich and they wouldn't be stealing our ish to make money. In ANY case. Secondary maps = bueno but anti-start with different injectors is plenty to keep thieves from having their way with your pride and joy, assuming they don't bring a flatbed. Bottom line, Anti-start > secondary maps. Make us proud, Calvin. Make us proud.

OK update, I've been talking to calvin, and I may have convinced him to let me help finnish up a bunch of the coding for eCtune. Hes been pretty busy and hasn't had time to work on it, and it needs to get done. SO.. theres a good chance I'll be working to improve alot of the connection issues with the demon, and get onboard loging working and as much other stuff as I can get done in my free time. I'll keep you guys posted.
