MIL triggered by TPS

Post by Richie2 »

Hi, I started tuning today, and everything connects fine and datalogs fine. But I havent driven the car, and with the key on and car off after pressing throttle more than half way I get a mil. Is that normal or what does it mean? I noticed this when calibrating TPS.

Then you have the KOEO MIL reading enabled. This indicates you do NOT have an error code in the ECU. If you HAVE an error, the MIL starts blinking the code pattern(s) instead. So it's just to indicate you are in error reading routines, but that there are no errors.

offcourse not. With key off the ECU is 'dead' because there is no 12V with key off ;)
