Have to erase the HD

Well I have to erase my hard drive yet again, was wondering will eCtune work fine if I back up my current folder on my external drive and then just load it up when I the internal formatted and re-installed?

just back-up license.xml and your tune reinstall HD, re-install eCtune, copy license back
