Greetings! I am currently testing R14 for Calvin, just wanted to check with other tuners what experiance they're having with this version. The only features I had (time) to adjust from version R13 include Injector offset and the Battery Offset values with the same voltage values I've used in R9-R13. My battery offset will look different then most since I run an underdrive pulley on my Alt. and this is the best I can get it run which is decent between 14.2-14.7. With very little tuning I noticed my WOT A/F seems to be way more stable. I still have some tuning to do with the Batt. Offset. this seems different then the previous ver. I will post my calibration later tonight. edit by admin: Using rom 0.0.59

How is it regarding Tip In? did you select the battery table before tuning?

No, I did not select the battery offset I used the same values as the last version. tip-in seems to spike lean then the last version. But I need to tune this using Burgermass's method.

reselect your battery table.. adjust offset to idle good.. retune adjust tip and let me know.. I notice afr are more stable in WOT and IDLE(smoother idle)

ok did the B16 today, fueling is WAY better.. I still had to -20% to get the tip in smooth, but everything overall was better. was a stock B16 with 550CC injectors, Turbonetics T3/T4 .. Made 278HP and 217TQ @ like 16PSI.. Ran out of injectors, duty was like 97%.. The temps in the dyno garage were 99deg @ 22% humidity.. ehh houston heat sucks balls.. and I have a big headache now.. OUCH (reaches for asprin)

I reset the Battery Offset tables and increased the Injector offset from 2 to 24. My idle didnt seem as good as my original settings probably a tuning issue on my part. I was getting the little idle misfires as other tuners have described while using the NGK 4554. I went back to my original battery offset settings and the same target A/F and the misfires went away. I agree with Burgermass WAYYYYY better

i'll have to look again at the cal, but I used only FV mabey 35 or so and -20 tipin, thats is, the rest was fuel map changes only.

so when you went to R14 all you had to do was increase the Injector Offset? Same battery offset?

I've had to go as low as .30 on tip in, the larger the injectors the smaller the tip in value.
