eCtune & Vista Crash

Hi. I just got eCtune PRO version with a valid license. However, when i try to run the program, i get the following error :

No. 1 thing to do is: Disable UAC in vista. Otherwise it will mess up all sorts of file copy actions when you upgrade, copy in the license etc. See http://forum.ectune.com/viewtopic.php?t=643 /Allan

UAC is already disabled ; I always hated it since Vista came out. So what would be the next thing to do ?

did you install .net? What point did it hang? Did you follow all the vista notes? Run as administrator, copy files to root before eCtune directory; force update, etc?

msg shows that .net 3.5 is not installed

Thought you made an check on the availability of .NET on the install Calvin?

me thought so tooo. i check for the folder but that doesn't mean the 3.5 works good

Checked on an XP with no 3.5 installed and eCtune nicely installs it. And that pc has an really messed up XP install :lol:
