eCtune

I was driving and logging stop off to make changes and the cal wont upload to the ostrich, then i get ectune not vendor error so I try to reset like I did when I had to switch back to crome for a day and it would not do anything except the ectune vendor thing. so i limped back home to get internet so i can request lic. and then it said ectune has received a ostrich change registration. whats going on. it has worked flawlessly for almost a month logged and tuned daily then this. Please help i want to drive my car Thanks Wes

ostrich serial number changed then.. very weird

bad battery connection inside the ostrich? We have seen this before.

vendor nor Serial can change your serial change. I think your ostrich got rested by software not from removing battery

could this have been a firmware update to the ostrich?

maybe updating from new to very old not sure.. but the serial number was wiped. I don't wipe serial numbers in ectune, only in ostrichResetTool posted in Hw section

it did what ever it did with no internet connection and the battery issue could be iffy because in the short time i had eCtune down i had to run Crome. it held and did not have any problems. i know that i am glad to have eCtune back.
