AEM 5 bar scalars?

I just installed an AEM 5 bar and made a fresh map for it. The scalars range from -25.8 inHG to 66.93 psi. Is this right? The 66psi seems high to me.

What are you plans? You dont put a 5bar sensor on a 1bar car or do you? 5 bar is 72psi so......

There is 14.5 Psi per Bar. It measures absolute, so 5*14.5 = 72.5psi. That would lead to a max boost column of 58psi.

Yeah thats what I was getting at, but when you choose the AEM 5 bar option in the Map sensor selection I am getting the 66psi values, which doesnt seem correct to me. Am I doing something wrong or are the preset values incorrect? I dont see how I could mess up a selection box.

custom.. fill in scalar at 0v and 5v

So just ignore the ectune settings and go straight to my own then?

you may first want to check with the current settings if your datalog and an external boost guage read the same.. the AEM 5 bar may not be exactly 5 bar.. So leave it at the default settings and do a LOW boost pull at like 10PSI and see if it matches or if its off before you manually change the scalers. I've used this sensor before and left it at default values, but the car had no boost guage so not sure if it was right on or not.

They seem to be pretty close. Wit the car off it reads -1.9 inHG (baro is enabled) but everywhere else it seems to match the boost gauge fine.

The only time the scalar values mean everything is when you guess on the timing, assume 10psi is 10psi. I know many tuners take a setup's info, make an educated guess, and never test to be sure. Then when it turns out the motor had dome pistons instead if dish & the sleeve blows out, they're clueless. The best way to do it would be to check the koeo or whatever with both stock and AEM sensors.
