Tried to play with eCtune today, and found out I was lock out I needed the newer version, so I'm like ok this wont be hard its always simple, well I ran into problems after running forceupdate (which took longer than usual). I do get the window that say I've been update to newest version(0.0.2.2 r4)... so I go ahead and start eCtune back up and it gives the same message \"MSGID M002H Old Version! Please run force update from start menu to get the latest version.\" So after doing that over and over about 6 times i uninstalled eCtune downloaded and installed a fresh copy and i still got the same message whats going am i doing something wrong.. also notice that when i run force update

this means... drumroll please.... you gotta wait for the new version to be released... check the site for the post int he software support section with release comments on the new version; or just forceupdate on the day listed in the program.

got locked out too, ran forced update and still got 2.2r4 also, is r5 already out? could the expiration date be set 1 day after the software warns of it, like in this case, on the 25th, since i'm on a different timezone, the 24th comes earlier for us than the update release date...

I would assume late tonight, or sometime tomorrow the release will come out; I know it is hampering sometimes... but its only every few months this comes up...

I did check it's been good I never changed it.. even when I would update to r4 the dates on the folders would be current I have no idea why it wasn't going thru.. seriously i checked when you told me too because i thought maybe there is a chance it could've been changed or something but it was the correct date.. On top of that once I updated to r5 it worked without anything being changed

old version msg you get when ectune is expired. if you got that the date was not good it was supposed to expire on 11/24

Same problem here... I have an old laptop with the tuner version on it. Battery wnet dead, so I tried to use my new laptop with the datalogging version. When I run \"Force Update\" it says \"Updated to 0.0.2.2r5\" Setup: Sony laptop ,FZ31e, Intel Dua Core T5450 with Windows Vista. Date/time is correct, look at screenshot.
