ostrich re-connect behavior

I'm not sure if this is an eCtune bug or a FTDI driver bug, but... If my laptop's power dies, it goes to sleep (suspend) when it wakes back up, datalogging (usually) works fine, but the ostrich will fail. A simple disconnect / reconnect is enough to fix it. Perhaps the default behavior can be to try to disconnect/reconnect before erroring out?

i'll look into this. Once i have my ostrich again... I don't even have a car to test

I have the same issue with the ostrig. I set my laptop to hibernate when we are waiting in staging lanes. then when I wake it up the datalogger is fine but the ostrig will not connect. I have had to restart eCtune sometimes. I am using a buslink USB 2.0 card to connect.

this is fixed.. I catch power change mode on the laptop. Disconnect both ostrich and datalogging, reconnect if i come out of hibernate
