eCtune

hi guys very new to ectune here running crome gold in my turbo gsr with no probs just wanted to try the new stuff here realy it looks awesome,thanks for this beast calvin so i have a solid sell when i upload my basemap edm p30 ecu-edm map used starts bun runs terible the car runs with conv harness when i put back crome it runs great,i use diferent ostrich2 for ectune i have added the egr hardware for pwm solenoid but not the solenoid yet also i updated my ectune and still there is a message to update again any thoughts guys?

what is the update msg exact? which rom version?

the update window says: the version of ectune curently installed will expire in less one week please update before 30/12/2008 please run force update the day before expire day the version is 2.2.r5

that's normal. every month or so ectune upgrades and u have to update the version but the program should work normal, just force update on the 29th

Well if crome works then ectune should work. Id start by making another basemap and go through all the options( can be overwhelming at first)to make shure you have it set up right. A solid cell usually means 1) corrupt basemap 2) bad ecu. (prolly not cause crome works) make shure you didnt bend any of the ribbon pins. Also KOEO push your gas pedle down to retrieve codes, see if thers a code. Just some ideas.

the ribon pins are fine that was my first thought so i must play with diferent basemaps thanks man also if there are other opinions i would like to hear

i would verify if you're actually loading the cal correctly. Try connecting to the ostrich and click on GET ROM to see if you loaded the calibration.

also checked this cause i upload 5-6 calibrations and used get option many times

ok just got it running just it throws map sensor code(3) and aytomatic transmision code(31) nithing to wory about thanks guys

ok,i got the car ryuning but for a weird reason ostrich stoped working and now i cant load or upload it connects but when i want to upload it says that the ostrich is not licensed or vendor not ectune i requested ostrich license again why ??????
