No internet available on tuning laptop

I recomnended to one of my customers to use eCtune to replace crome for his new set up. He bought the product. Now the only problem is that I am going to tune it on his lap top, but it is not able to conect to the internet to perform regestering and so forth. I can use my desk top or lap top to access the net to get the info for his lap top but his is not able to do so. Any help with this would be apreciated.

depending on the type of laptop, either use your desktop to create an ad-hock network connection to the internet, or if the laptop has wireless use a Router or public WiFi location to connect. You can always plug in a USB wireless adapter as well. (I have a little netgear version that I picked up for $20 a while back, not the greatest for speed but great in a pinch) I'm sure Calvin has a method of doing it manually, but with the internet connection things go a lot faster.

(especially installing .net framework 3.5)
