Then in green letters it states Connected. Then if I click verify rom or put base rom - uplaod any of those i get the jit debugging screen. I do have the User Account Control turned off i tried with it ON and then I could not even get into ectune at all. So I turned it back off. Thanks.. Tommy

Yes I am a noob!!! I have it so far to verify the rom and to uplaod. I dont have car with me at this time. I guess the problem was Ectune is saved into programs file I had the basemap saved into the documents file. I created a new basemap went to the program file open it up then found the ectune open it up found the folder that stated base_rom saved into that. Then did the steps and everything checked out good. No errors at all. So yes stupid me. But please bare with me I do live in SOUTH GEORGIA. Thanks for the help.. Tommy
