Force update to R9 now error

i cant even get mine to start running. all it does when i double click the ectune shortcut it pop up small window that looks like force update window for less then a second and then it goes away. nothing else happens.

mine too. i get a CMD window for about 1/2 second, then nothing. i ran force update twice about 5 minutes ago

If you get the black command prompt window and nothing else you likely have to do what I did and reinstall the software completely. You will likely still have the problem with it crashing when it opens though. I already had .net 3.5 sp1 and that doesn't fix the problem. I have also force updated a couple times and it still doesn't work.

that is why I reinstalled, but that only fixes the first problem and not the other. I downloaded the updated installer from the email calvin sent earlier and when I run force update the first line still says it can't find ectune.exe

first line is no problem meaning ectune is not open.. who did a force update in the last 10 min?

I just ran force update. Updated to R9 with no problems. Now when I open ectune it gave me a message that ectune has stopped working. So I closed it and re open it again and ectune opened fine.

I just did a force update. It works now. MSGID 001H is gone. Thanks!
