eCtune

I just purchased ECTune with an Ostrich 2.0 from Xenocron and I seem to be having problems with the software. The car I am putting this in is a 99 Civic SI turbocharged with a stock B16- I also purchased a p28 ECU with step-down harness. I was able to install ECTune & register, and I received the license from Xenocron today. However, I cannot connect to the car's ECU at all. I was on the phone with Chris from Xenocron for a few hours and when I tried to test or make changes under emulator comm settings in the Settings menu the program does not respond at all. Chris also told me that I would need to request a seperate license for the Ostrich through ECTune, but whenever I click on the emulator tab and then click any of the options nothing happens, and sometimes the program freezes up. I have to Ctrl Alt Del to get the computer back to normal operating condition. Please let me know if there is anything you can think of that I may be doing wrong, or if you may be able to identify what this problem may be caused by. did you read the step by step manual? Where is it going wrong?

step b step manual. that must be new or with the platinum version.lmao i never got a manual. do you have the ostrich ribbon plugged in the right way i think they can plug in backwards. also when you get your new licsense for the ostrich you need to remove the old one for ectune. well thats what i did anyway
