Difference in AFR reading...........

Post by thething96 »

Hi, I have an issue going on, probably missing something. Had made a new map using the \"type r\" option. For some reason, the AFR reading from the datalogging was dead on with my wideband, and I don't even have the wideband wired to ectune. Remade a new map(type r map was idling bad, new map idles fine) using the p30 option, and now the AFR only reads 10.44. Wondering what could've changed.????

you can never read afr from your wideband in ectune if it's not wired to the ecu or via serial to eCtune. Maybe you were reading narrow band o2?

possibly........ but it was dead even with the wideband. My friend and I were amazed that the numbers were so alike, but that could've been the case.....
