anguscrx wrote:Hi there a few questions before i purchase .. is eCtune Pro a softwear download?
Yes
how long fomr the point of purchase will i be up and tuning?
About an hr to download setup, install, and get your license
do people have any problems like Crome ? eg getting new reg string codes..
There are no reg string codes, just licenses. You just keep the program updated.
can i change my pc without having to wait for access again ?
You will have to request a new license for the new labtop, you can submit it from the program and I have normally recieved a new license within 30 or so min.
How can i upgrade to dealer versions or alike so i can tune multiple cars...and whats the costs?
Yes you can get a tuner license, contact
[email protected] for pricing and details. Its worth it, its amazing software with a lot of great people behind it. I chose the tuner license after we bought two pro bundles because it was what my customers wanted and it was in their best interest. Ectune is hands down the best oem ecu based ems for an obd1 honda. Customers really like the 3 step, gear dependent boost, overheat/overboost/lean protection, switchable maps and how smooth it actually runs the car.
I own a tuning shop in the UK and am fed up with waiting for chrome .. are athere any downsides to this system over crome ..
There honestly is no comparison between crome and ectune. I went from crome free, crome pro, crome gold, neptune, to ectune. Ectune's GUI is amazing, unlike any other. The other ones remind me of windows 3.1 and ectune being windows xp Ectune is supported so its more stable and constantly updated.
and lastly is there live map trace but also highliting to show where you have been ? thanks for any replys in advance ... regards ian
Yes you can trace and it will also overlay just about anything you want, air fuel plus 3 other user selectable parameters, ex boost, injector duty, iat, ect..
