Adding a oil teperature sensor

hello everyone, i want to add a oil temperature sensor to my ectune setup, is it possible? if so, im looking for a sensor that could take the heat and has a proer welding bung that comes with it, any suggestions? thanks

Yes you can, you just need to find out the voltage scaling to input into ectune.

But more of temp sender is an \"resistance\" value and not an voltage output :? :?

Just use the existing 5V reference from the ecu and create a resistor network for the RTD sensor so that it outputs a 0-5v signal. The stock ecu has this kind of circuit for the stock temperature sensors.
