This is a totally new setup for me this year and we are having a missfire or a boost cut happening at 6100rpm on anything over 21 psi,we tried gaping new set of plugs down to 18 tho,tried a set of new ik24's,watched fuel pressure,checked over pretty much anything and everything now im stumped.We purchaced a brand new msd pro billet distributer and msd ignitor to get rid of factory distibuter.We were having clean runs on -19 psi once we went up to 21 we started having these issues.Here is a breakdown of the engine setup,also i am including our current map and datalog.Any help would be appreciated.Our goal is to have this car out for our anual fastest sport compact weekend which is on this saturday making the same 700+whp on a Aem ecu. Crower stroked 2.0l golden eagle sleeved Fully done gsr head with gsr cams \"local machine shop\" exaust cam gear is at +3 deg custom intake plenum with 90mm tb Airwerks s400sx same size as a 372r twin tial 44mm gates tial 50 mm bov pwr water/air ic custom twin scroll manifold ams-1000 boost controller dedenbear c02 setup \"bottle pressure was over 1200 psi when we first started then fell down to 800 psi after run 25 0n dyno\" injector clinic 1000cc injectors ,static fuel pressure is at 80 psi Twin bosch 044's -10 feed to pumps -8 after pumps to rail and return line is -8 weldon regulator Msd digital7 7530t hvc2 coil msd pro billet distributor and msd ignitor msd wires ik24 denso plugs and we also have ngk r5671-9 plugs also \"trying both plugs for testing\" If i am missing anything just ask.

I was looking further into the log and i noticed vtec is shutting off and post fuel is turning on anyone have this kind of issue?i was looking at my logs on 17 psi and it was clean all the way up to 9500 rpm,no post fuel turning on and vtec stays on aswell.

Your having issues with noise on your emulator.. I've had this happen in a bunch of different setups with high output ignitions. First thing you need to do is use only Resistor type spark plugs, next thing, get rid of the MSD plug wires and use the blue NGK ones. They are much better at suppressing ignition noise. Make sure all your MSD stuff is far away from the ECU and emulator.. Also make sure you have a lid on your ECU and if your using an ostrich wrap it up in tinfoil if you have too.. but I'm pretty sure just changing the plug wires and going to resistor plugs will solve your issues. Keep me posted..

You know i used the denso ik27 when i first started and it was running the best,once i switched out the factory dist for the msd one and i also switched out the ik27's for the non resistor type r5671-9's.Should i be gapping these ik27's down a bit they are factory gapped at 0.4mm?I already wraped ostrich and cable early today and did a few runs on dyno pulls clean on 21 psi again but it was down 30 whp this was on the non resistor spark plugs.in morning im putting in a new set of ik27 plugs and ordering a set of new ngk blues. You may or may not have to gap them down. Theres alot of variables that will determin if you need to gap them. But usually I find wth a good ignition system about a .020in gap seems to do pretty well. You may loose a tiny bit of power with the smaller gap but thats what the boost controller is for ;)
