Wideband logging of both Serial and Analog

Post by M2_Motorsports »

I am wondering if it is somehow possible to log LC1 from both the serial input and the analog O2 input simultaneously. My reasoning for doing so is to sync the analog so that when I am done tuning and laptop is not connected, I can enable closed loop thru the analog. D14 doesn't seam to be an option as it should be in the extra sensor logging.

The only way is to start logworks and read the wideband via serial by logworks and compare it with the analogue reading in eCtune.

I thought of that method, but why can't eCtune allow use if 0-5v (or 3.83v if unmodded ecu) logging of D14? just like we can with EGR lift input. I guess I should put this in the feature request section.

why do you want to see 2 wideband displays?

I want to log both serial and analog simultaneously so I can make wideband analog out match Serial out so when laptop is not connected (done tuning) I can turn on closed loop. I can play with the offset and voltage table to make is "Spot On".

I guess he was suggesting an ectune tool that could create the conversion table automatically based on both inputs (analog + serial) but it's such an easy thing to do it manually that i really don't see the need for extra stuff.

I guess what I am really asking for is extra analog logging capability. I was greatly disappointed to find that I could not use the D14 to log anything other than wideband. This scenario is what I was trying to do, but I think logging of D14 would be a nice addition even for other purposes than to simply sync the wideband analog out.
