eCtune issues when starting......

when i try to open ectune, it wasn't loading, saying that there was an error with ectune and that windows had to close it. did the force update 3 times. after that, ectune will open, but on the loading screen, it freezes and read: binary stream '0' does not contain a valid binary header. Possible causes are invalid stream or object version change between serialization and deserialization. After that it reads: could not parse or load the SettingsfileC:\\ProgramFiles\\settings\\Settings.xmlVoid.ctor( ) at qrb, and then a whole bunch of squares and random letters and numbers. First, what the Hell does all this mean, and second, how do i fix it. been trying to use ectune all day, and cant. Please any help is appreciated. Thanks..................

Will that make me loose the ectune and ostrich licenses?
