Can't connect Ostrich with latest ECTUNE version

Can't connect Ostrich with latest ECTUNE version
So after a couple of months of not using ectune, i finally downloaded the newest version today. I also installed the latest FTDI driver from moates, but when i go to connect the ostrich i keep getting a \"cannot connect to demon\" error. I'm on Vista by the way...how do i fix this? Thanks in advance
