Ectune on laptop and desktop?

Hi. Apologies if the question has been answered before, but I wanted to be sure. As far as I have been able to understand, Ectune probably generates some code when you install it on your pc, which is then turned into a license.xml. After that, you register the Ostrich with your copy of Ectune and get the license.xml paired with your Ostrich. I wanted to ask if I can register Ectune on my desktop and laptop so that I don't have to turn on my laptop when I'm at home. Right now, I turn on my laptop and RDP into it so that I can work from my desktop. I've had a license problem before, so I'd rather ask you guys before doing any stupid stuff. Thanks in advance.
