Vacuum leak fuel cut

Post by ckretvix »

Does this work via just reading TPS to determine when to cut fuel?

The stock ECu has a routine that prevents the car from over revving if you have a vaccume leak.. Bascally if it sees to high of an idle speed with the TPS below a certain threshold it will momentarily cut fuel to lower the RPMs.. This is why when you have a vaccume leak the car will rev then bog then rev then bog, when your sitting at idle.. The check box just disables this feature.
