Is it me or every time you update there's problems????

I'm trying really hard to get ectune to make my car faster but it seems like everytime I update I have serious issues. I went to the track Saturday an updated my ectune before. On the way to the track my afr's were way off the car started sputtering. When it never had this problem before. And at the track I set my boost by gear to 12psi and instead was boosting 25psi. My afr was around 11.5 wot and now is 10... What's going on? Is it me or ectune? Please help I want to make this work
