newb, tryin to get things movin

ok, so i installed my firmware on my ostrich, done install ectune and forceupdate, done connect my ostrich and request license, done get license and put in folder, done hook to car to get ostrich serial, done sent request again, replaced license file. NOW im stuck with an ectune that only opens PRI edition (pro demon) and i cant get it to switch to ostrich and i have no idea what happened. i tried installing it on my desktop and same thing, it will load up as r12, but whenever i update it only updates r10 ive reinstalled over and over trying it from scratch and nothings working right it always opens in demon mode
