eCtune Serial Logging

since i dont want to log through d14 for various reasons i would like to try serial logging! what would i need to do this to log through my lc1 i have a serial to usb converter and when i try to log through the serial port it just flashes connected and connection timed out help! and it says 10.1 no matter what the gauge reads! also the com port settings are correct!

It has to be a configuration problem if you have already done these important steps: connect with logworks/lmprogrammer to confirm serial connection configure ectune to use the serial wb connection *after* lmprogrammer or logworks has been closed. It's pretty simple.... Hard to mess up...

its making me mad yo! lm programmer works and if i wanted to make changes to voltages etc. but if i wanted to use the lm1 realtime or whatever it wont connect log works wont work or connect so to speak

looks like serial streams either from your adaptor/cable or driver are at fault; if logworks won't connect and log ectune can't.... Get ahold of innovate; it's not a problem with ectune =/

i was thinking maybe my serial to usb was being the problem because of the drivers or maybe it is a streaming issue ...kinda hard to tell!
