It had a purpose; I know... Most of the time it doesn't effect other users... There are always detailed change logs when there are major updates... I haven't seen much reported recently as far as bugs go.

The monthly update is just to ensure if there are any big bugs discovered that it forces everyone to get a fix once a month, otherwise if theres no huge bugs then its just a blank update basically.
