Idling problems

Post by Topher03 »

My car will idle perfect cold and you can rev it up and when the revs fall it will catch its self just fine. But when the car is warm the idle is still fine (800-925) but when you rev it up and let off the gas the car will just die. Does anyone have any problems with this. This is the current map on the car.

add fuel to the map just below target idle (500-600rpm from column 1 to 6). Just keep adding until it stops stalling.

when your engine recovers from a fuel cut pay attention to the pressure and rpm your engine experiences tune that area of the map and then adjust the area around it accordingly. This along with a properly set idle screw should help your issues. Also make use of your smoothing tool a little more often. you should not have lines crossing in the 2d fuel map.
