I will be receiving my lm2 shortly. My guess is it's going to work on an auxiliary port for daisy-chained devices; not the built in USB... I could be wrong though. I myself need this feature to interface my lm2 with an ot2 so I can log on the go with my iPhone and not use the logger in the lm2. I want to be able to review the log on my phone not pc.

Correct. I have had mine for a few weeks... tunes a few cars... I love it! I even diagnosed a no-start when hot... when everyone wanted to replace dizzy, I replaced ECT... being the 6th mechanic to see the car made him extatic to be able to drive with no fear of a no hot/warm start condition.

To get the new Innovate MTX-L to work with eCtune: -I installed Logworks and the drivers on the CD that came with the kit -Plugged in my serial/usb converter -Used device manager to see what COM port was default -Selected that COM port in eCtune with 'Serial Logging' enabled Simple as that, and it worked... Windows 7 box as well.
