How exactly does that work? You just offer your services while the cusotmer is strapped to the dyno?

Either that or the most popular way, thru datalogs via email. I send you a tune, you datalog, email me the datalog, I send you another tune, repeat till finished. Normally in 3 emails you are already flogging on your car and its getting better and better each tune. We start them off safe and rich and make more power from there. My tune folder has 680 maps in it, this collection is what I start the cars with, tuned maps as bases. Saves a lot of time with fast results, car runs and starts smoother than stock. 859 421 3334 Please feel free to txt or pm me anytime, Dk

Lol. You don't want me bothering you. I have nothing to tune. Stock JDM SIRII B16 right now. Depending on what I hear from the California smog ref, it might be swapped for a B18C1. So for now, no mods. Just trying to get an idea for how you did the e-tuning. Seems like a good idea... assuming the customer has good equipement, no issues, healthy engine, etc.

Your 100% right, takes a good customer. To my surprise, most have no troubles with it what so ever. Around here we don't deal with emissions, I have a 6\" conical stack coming out my hood and no one seems to mind. I feel bad for you guys, I'd say that would be bad for a speedshop's business.

Thanks man! e tuned some more tonight, cars are running good with fast results! Some guys are just using this service to learn to tune with ectune better. They learn from watching the my maps evolve. They can see first hand what everything should look like and how it got there.

e tunes huh.. whatcha got for a base for my setup 84mm aebs sleeved b16 9.5:1 Victor X intake BC stage 2 FI cams ID 1000's my tuning apt is next wed.. but would be nice to show up with a decent basemap.. the guy tuning has never used ectune before.. they just force people to run hondata.. i refused and once i showed him the software hes gonna give it a go. Hopefully i can get them to start offering ectune.. the only other honda software he had ever used was crome.. and we all know how crap that is. biggest waste of $150 i ever spent! i somehow ended up here while trying to figure out how to setup the timing right. Did timing with timing light and set timing to the stock location.. does changing cams change the timing degree that much? i had my dizzy marked from when i took it off to build head and now its no where close to that mark. With just a simple drive around the parking lot i can feel that the car feels better with the dizzy set where my mark is.. i dont have an adjustable light but if i had to guess its somewhere around 8 BTDC .. I couldnt find any real writeup on how to use the timing sync tool either.. some help with that would be awesome

What sort of money are you charging for your services? Do you charge per job or per adjustment? Bill

A months worth is a strange figure but I guess your thinking is with regular communication either way a car should be easily tuned by then? Bill

Yes I try to give the customer extra time if needed. Most of the time the customer is having fun enjoying WOT by the 3rd tune revision. These are very dialed in tunes once finished. Pretty much every night once I get off the dyno, I review logs and send out new tune revisions to all my current e tune customers.

DK was able to get my car running smoother/better than it has in over 10 years. The map I have now and the map I had before are night and day as far as drive-ability is concerned. I have an oddball motor and this was not a problem what so ever. I highly recommend the service, had I done this years ago I would have save literally 1000's of dollars wasted on junk tuners and dyno time. Each step of the way DK will give you a map with directions on what to log and you return him the log file and next day a new map with new directions is waiting.
