Currently, if you have a cell selected for editing and you type a letter or another key that is not a valid number, it will generate a number. Perhaps it would be better to just ignore irrelevant keypresses without generating an error? for example, hit 'N' while a ignition cell highlighted

Just filter out none numeric keypresses. I'll put the on the list.
