R3 bugs

Post by hackish »

Create a new basemap. Pick PR3 JDM version. Pick a B16 JDM version and it will set the vtec to come on at 500 RPM. The radio button for boost cut type (1200 RPM or current) is not saved as it keeps defaulting back to current. This is a very dangerous feature as I was able to successfully overboost a customer's car with current RPM. The boost cut was set to 8 but by him bouncing off that limiter he was able to build 15psi before I got him to lift. We need to get rid of that current RPM feature as it can't be relied on. Using the .47 map (second .46 in the list) I sometimes get a check engine. Jumped it and it flashed a code 1. Clicking on error codes it won't show anything on the list but selecting \"reset error codes\" makes it go away temporarily. I verified that the primary O2 is disabled. Even tried reading the map off the ROM to verify this. Launch control over-revs by quite a bit before it gets set. I set the launch control to 4000 then planted it. The RPMs shot up to about 6k before settling down to bouncing at 4k. That's it for now. -Michael
