BURN1 and SST 27SF512 :Solved:

Calvin : TimDog is having problem burning 512k chip. Do you have a field to input 8000h as start programming address in your Burn1 interface ?

yes. I have tested burn myself no problems. I guess user error. he IM me something else about MIL staying on short after putting a burned chip in. I burned like 6 times saturday no problems You can select: 27c256(read only) 27c512 0000-7FFF (read only) 27c512 8000-FFFF (read only) 27SF512 0000-7FFF 27SF512 8000-FFFF AT29C256 If you burn a 27st512 it does: -Erease chip -Burn Chip -Verify Chip

I burned an sst512 unit without problems using the burn1 utility.
