eCtune

I am not sure if anyone else has had this problem or not. After I finish logging and save the rom. I will try and close the program and it will stop responding. I will end up having to go and end program to close it. everything else is fine.

I have not had this problem. Actually I've never gotten the program to stop responding, and I've tried alot of things to attempt to get it to.

I was logging on the way to work this morning and figured out what's causing it. I have to disconnect the datalogger and the ostrich in the program then I can close it. If I don't click disconnect on both the program will not close on its own.

I will see if my laptop is updated to the latest .net I haven't had it on the internet for awhile since I only use it for tuning. Don't want some ms update causing problems.

Well you got me thinking about it so I tried closing the program everyway possible. Still had no problems. Sorry, does your computer have trouble closing any other programs or just eCtune?

For me, ectune locks up very infrequently... I can't remember what reason it locked up last time but that was a month ago and with datalogger version.

lets just say it could be faulty .net framework;). Na i don't have that. I have a lock once in the while. But mostly this installation i have is garbage. To much testing. TFDI driver fucked, pl-2303 drivers fucked. Aem EMS as soon as i use comm port locks. Ectune locks sometimes when enabling the datalogging. But i believe it's my laptop. Here ectune closes

I took all the programs out of my start up folder. That seemed to stop the problem. I think my laptop is to slow to have all of that going at once since its .net I will keep at it but I sure its more my laptop and less an ectune issue.
