Lean Protection Errors?

Post by sohcd16y8 »

Im using 2.1 r0 right now. This is what happens, I have my lean protection enabled like this (using lean protect 1) Min rpm 4507 Min Throttle 30% Above Load 6.08 psi Maximum afr 1.51V 13.02 AFR Max lean duration 270 msec Now my car is running about 11.5:1 at in boost and right when I hit 6 psi it cuts. I then changed the max afr value to 10.4 and it cuts again (like it should since I would be lean). I then changed the max afr to 15:1 and it cut again. I then left the max afr at 15:1 and changed above load to 10 psi and it cut out rigth when I hit 10. Basically it seems like no matter what I set it always cuts at the above load setting. Am I doing something wrong or is this an error?

Is the wideband connected to D14 ? Maybe it sees a narrowband sensor... Calvin told me it uses the \"O2 input\" and at this point, I assume this means D14 or whatever input you have chosen for the closed loop function. /Allan

I am using D14 with the PLX m300. Do I need closed loop enabled for lean protect to work?

Here is the log. The first pull is with the lean protection disabled just to make sure that was what was causing it. The second pull was with the lean protect 1 enabled with these settings Min rpm 4507 Min Throttle 30% Above Load 6.08 psi Maximum afr 1.51V 13.02 AFR Max lean duration 270 msec Hope this helps

i see something else. Can u confirm that lean protection flag in datagrid goes on when lean protect is on? I don't see it on in the log. Test with idle let leanProtection activate check the lean protect flag/checkbox in data grid while making a log file. Please let me know
