weird cel

Post by james25 »

I was digging through my pocket while I have my car key on engine off and accidentally stomped the gas pedal. The cel illuminated and when I took my foot off, the light went out. Of course I did it again. What does it mean? some type of wot detector?

ughhhhhh that's how you check your CEL's. wait for the cel to do it's clinks if any, then before starting the motor push the throttle past 50%; and it will blink any codes, or stay solid for no code. Your fine man!

Nice! good to know! cuz I didn't know that. That means I don't have to use my honda special paperclip tool to check for codes :D

Yeah, awesome feature; plus since R13, it was switched from an option to a feature, with the service connector input on the ECU to not be used set as default. This leaves one more open input for operations.
