ECT Problem

My Gauge is reading low but the data column reads 235F and doesnt move from 235F....car is not running hot

replace ECT sensor, and or check wiring from ECT sensor to ECU. The guage in the cluster reads from a different single wire sensor.

sometimes if there is an air pocket it will read incorrect.. but it sounds like your ECT is buggin out on ya.

why is the gauge reading correctly but program is reading something different

so the ECT sensor sends direct to ECU?...either way...doesnt the dash have to get a single from that sensor right wether it be from some other signal wire...

Dude.... you really need to read the posts above once again :) There are 2 sensors. The cluster has one sensor. And the ECU uses its own sensor. Different sensors. Different wires all the way. /Allan

so change sensor on the motor cause thats the one that is not working properly
