so have we determined that its an ostrich sensitivity problem? cause if it is, then we need to get on craig to come up with a solution. Especially since were buying a crap load of his products..

Unsure of the effectiveness of the ferrite since they are designed for different frequencies, but on wire bundle with ebc wires, bundles entering bulkhead, egr line at ecu connector, WB input line, usb cables, ect. May have simply been the plugwires, but ferrite is cheap.

Yep, or that or both...I have never once had this problem or I would have tried it out.

it just sucks, that it doesn't work right, out of the box.. Its not good for eCtune business for customers to have to do all this extra crap to their ostrich to get them glitch free. Granted its not a problem on every car, but there will be a few and they will complain..

I think you are getting worked up a little too much on this...and taking the completely wrong approach with what you say on public forums about a manufacturer that has SIGNIFICANTLY supported the DIY scene and has been a direct reason it is so easy to tune these cars currently and why we have a scene to tune. The only place I have read about these problems with the Ostrich 2.0 are on this forum with people using eCtune...so maybe its a problem with eCtune and how it works with the Ostrich in certain situations? Instead of constantly criticizing, maybe try to help figure EXACTLY what the problem is and help fix it. I'm certain Craig would be open to working on that in a future revision if he could nail down what problems to design for...
