Fuel Cutting Out?

Post by Almighty-Si »

I was messing around with the antilag last week, updated my old rom to the latest and had a little fun :D Yesterday I went in the garage to mess with some stereo stuff and had the car running. I was doing some free reving and notice that holding the throttle between 2500-4000rpm makes the car bounce the rpm. Holding the rpm at 3000rpm the wideband reads 13.5:1 and then shoots lean and falls back to like 2000rpm the wideband goes back to 13.5 and rpm climbes back to 3000 rpm and repeat. Funny thing is, it never did that before and it doesn't do it at any other rpm except between 2-4k rpm. Anyone have any ideas? I don't have any logs of it cause I didn't have the laptop with me but I can get some if need be.

sounds like your TPS may be out of calibration and its causeing the fuelcut to engage.

Either that or when he update to the newer version, the fuel properties have changed recently and his old settings probably need to be adjusted.
